LPHDNA MONTHLY MEETING
JUNE 19, 2008
Hello everyone!
The May meeting literally was canceled at the Friendly Town door. We tried and tried to get the door unlocked but it just wouldn't cooperate. Thanks to all who showed up for the meeting, got drenched from the downpour, only to turn around and go back home. I am told that the lock has been tested and now works! Please plan to attend the June 19th meeting, beginning at 7:00 pm, at Friendly Town. Our speaker will be Deputy Director Bob Richard from the Danville Police Department.
Since there are no May minutes to include with this newsletter, the agenda for our June meeting is on the reverse side of this page.
New officers will be elected this meeting. Nominations are welcome for ALL positions: Board of Directors, President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. More Block Captains are always needed.
The Association still plans to have our annual community yard sale. A date needs to be determined at this meeting.
Arts in the Park will be on June 21st and 22nd at Lincoln Park. Come and enjoy the crafts, music, dancing and food, seeing old friends and making new ones.
